Americans are struggling to buy the things they need, due to rampant inflation, and Democrats’ multi-trillion “Build Back Better” (BBB) bill will push costs even higher, Former Democrat Hawaii Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard says.
What’s more, the bill would fund “87,000 more IRS agents harassing regular folks,” Gabbard warned Monday in a tweet introducing a video of her analysis:
“Commonsense tells us that dumping trillions more dollars into the economy right now (via BBB) will make the inflation crisis worse, and we certainly don’t need 87,000 more IRS agents harassing regular folks.”
While Americans are struggling to make ends meet, they’re also frustrated that Democrats in Washington are ignoring their needs and, instead, are pushing a spending bill that would make products even more expensive, Gabbard says in her video:

“People - whether they’re Democrats, Republicans, Independents, regardless of party affiliation - people are struggling, people are frustrated with the fact that their government, that is supposed to be serving them, is ignoring their interests.
“When you look at the impact of inflation, this is affecting families all across the country. Now, you’re wondering, ‘Okay, well, can I afford this or that? But, I can’t buy both.’”
