President Joe Biden’s vile characterization of Americans who disagree with his agenda is worse than Hillary Clinton’s infamous slur calling them “a basket of deplorables,” Former Democrat presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard said Wednesday.
While Cinton’s insult was divisive and disgusting, Biden taken insults to a new low by suggesting that dissidents are terrorists, traitors and racists, Gabbard tweeted.
What’s more, as a candidate for president, Biden promised to unite Americans – yet, he’s doing the exact opposite now that he’s in office, Gabbard says:
“Hillary’s calling tens of millions of Americans deplorables was divisive & disgusting. But Biden has gone further, calling those who disagree with his actions & policies domestic enemies, traitors, and racists. Biden promised to unite us, but he is doing all he can do divide us.”
Speaking last week on January 6 about last year’s riot the U.S. Capitol, Biden did not spare Trump's "followers" or even Republicans. He said "too many" Republicans are "transforming the party" by supporting "a single man." "They seem no longer to want to be the Party of Lincoln, Eisenhower, Reagan, the Bushes," Biden said.

On Tuesday, Pres. Biden said opponents of his partisan voting rights bills are segregationists, racists, and Confederates.
In 2016, Candidate Clinton prompted outrage by referring to President Donald Trump’s supporters as a “basket of deplorables”:
“You know, to just be grossly generalistic, you could put half of Trump’s supporters into what I call the basket of deplorables. Right?” Clinton said. “The racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamaphobic—you name it. And unfortunately there are people like that. And he has lifted them up.”
