Former Vice President Joe Biden is in “no condition” to be Democrats’ candidate for president, President Donald Trump said Friday in an appearance on Rush Limbaugh’s radio show.

“We can say it nicely or we can say it badly,” but “Joe’s in no condition to be a candidate,” Trump said, participating in what Limbaugh proclaimed "the largest virtual rally in radio history."

Trump and Limbaugh agreed that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s (D-Calif.) bill to create a commission to evaluate the president’s capacity to serve is, in reality, a “trial run” to set the stage for making Biden’s running mate, Sen. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.), president if Biden wins in November:

Pres. Trump: “Well, let’s assume the Democrats are going to vote for “Sleepy Joe” – which is ridiculous because Joe shouldn’t be a candidate. Joe shouldn’t, Joe’s in no condition to be a candidate. We can say it nicely, or we can say it badly.

“The 25th amendment that crazy Nancy’s playing around with – she’s gone crazy, she’s a nut job. But, this 25th amendment, I think they put it in so they can get Kamala in replacing Joe.”

Limbaugh: “Exactly. That’s exactly what it is. It’s a trial run to see if they can kick Biden out. That’s exactly right, sir. It’s not aimed at you.”

Pres. Trump: “That was the first thing I thought of.”

“And, by the way, the Republicans have been really very good to me. One thing the Republicans have to do, though, they have to get tougher.

“We have some great ones, you know that. Jim Jordan and Meadows has been great, a lot of them, there’s a lot of them have been great. But, the Republicans have to get tougher.”

As reported, when Pelosi announced her bill Friday morning, she said, “This is not about President Trump,” adding that “He shows a need for us to create a process for future presidents.”
