President Donald Trump told American Legion boys and girls Wednesday that they can grow up to be like Bill Clinton.

Trump was explaining to an audience of American Legion youth that they had a legacy of going on to achieve political success when he uses former President Bill Clinton as a role model of what they might achieve if they enter public service:

TRUMP: “Through this program, countless young people like you have been inspired to protect American interests and to promote American values.  Right?  Many of those who have been in your place have gone on to become governors, members of Congress, generals, and one even became a President.  You know who that one was?”

AUDIENCE:  “Bill Clinton!”

THE PRESIDENT: “That’s true.  See?”

CNSNews Reader,

The media are hard at work weaving a web of confusion, misinformation, and conspiracy surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic.

CNSNews covers the stories that the liberal media are afraid to touch. It drives the national debate through real, honest journalism—not by misrepresenting or ignoring the facts.

CNSNews has emerged as the conservative media’s lynchpin for original reporting, investigative reporting, and breaking news. We are part of the only organization purely dedicated to this critical mission and we need your help to fuel this fight.
