“You need to hear this – because you’re being bombarded right now with these really over-the-top accusations against the president,” Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-TX) says at the start of a video posted by Trump in which Crenshaw takes on the left-wing political propaganda regarding the coronavirus.

Trump posted the video in Sunday night tweet, declaring it “Brilliant, a Must Watch.” Rep. Crenshaw opens his video, titled “Debunking the Left’s COVID-19 Narrative,” by noting some of the charges the Left is leveling against Trump:

“You need to hear this – because you’re being bombarded right now with these really over-the-top accusations against the president that he’s got blood on his hands, that his denial and delay has cost lives and that, basically, he took no action until it was too late.

“The question is: is any of that true? Here’s the truth.”

Crenshaw, then, contrasts how Trump warned about, and took steps against, the coronavirus with what the liberal media and Democrat politicians were doing at the time.

Rep. Crenshaw says he blames China, not Democrats, for the current health crisis – and thinks they should “stop the dishonest finger-pointing” and do the same:

“We’re going to need to stop the dishonest finger-pointing as we move into the next phase, where we figure out how to reopen the economy and fight the pandemic alongside that.

“Listen, I don’t want to blame Democrats for this, at all. I don’t think we should. I don’t think there’s a lot of people to blame for this – except for China, of course.

“It would be time for all of us to give each other a little bit of grace and understand that at the local, state and federal level, everybody is doing their best to fight the pandemic. And, we’re going to need to stop the dishonest finger-pointing as we move into the next phase, where we figure out how to reopen the economy and fight the pandemic alongside that.”
