Telemundo Debate Poll Finds Trump Beat Biden, 69%-31%

President Donald Trump beat Democrat Joe Biden in Tuesday night’s presidential debate, a debate-night poll by Spanish-language network Telemundo finds.

Telemundo anchors José Díaz-Balart and Felicidad Aveleyra initially announced that 66% of its Twitter users said Trump won the debate, compared to 34% who said Biden won. Final results reported by Telemundo show Trump’s advantage grew to 68.7%- 31.3%.

A Pew Research Center poll conducted July 27-August 2, 2020 finds that the economy is the most important issue influencing how Hispanics will vote, with eight in ten declaring it the top issue this election season.
