“Kamala Harris: Rules for thee but not for me,” Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) said in a tweet Monday, commenting on a video of Vice President Kamala Harris speaking at Harris Thomas Elementary School in Washington, DC.
In the video, V.P. Harris is standing maskless on a stage – while every child standing onstage behind her is wearing a COVID mask.
Arizona Republican Rep. Andy Biggs also blasted Harris, calling her hypocrisy “abhorrent” and warning that the Biden Administration wants to keep children “in masks forever,” The Daily Mail reports:
“It's abhorrent to see the Vice President of the United State flaunting around a stage with children fully masked next to her.“
“If the Biden-Harris regime had the ability to keep all Americans—including children—in masks forever, they would. Keeping masks on Americans and their children is not following the science.“
COVID masks have been optional in DC public schools since March 16, but Democratic elected officials often made unmasked trips to schools while masks were mandated, The New York Post reports.
