The eyes of Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) are upon Texas border facilities, the senator declared in a video Friday after he landed in the state on a mission to make “everyone understand” they’re being watched:

“We’ve just arrived in Texas. We’re going to inspect a whole bunch of border facilities.

“We want to see what’s going on, and we know that the fact that we’ve come down here makes everyone understand there are eyes upon them – eyes who want to see the children and families treated in a decent way.”

“The conditions at the border for children and families have been inhumane,” Sen. Schumer declared in his tweet made prior to inspecting the facilities and introducing the video:

“We just landed in Texas. The conditions at the border for children and families have been inhumane. And I’m leading a delegation of @SenateDems to investigate, inspect, and evaluate conditions for migrants at facilities on the southern border.”

CNSNews Reader,

The media are hard at work weaving a web of confusion, misinformation, and conspiracy surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic.

CNSNews covers the stories that the liberal media are afraid to touch. It drives the national debate through real, honest journalism—not by misrepresenting or ignoring the facts.

CNSNews has emerged as the conservative media’s lynchpin for original reporting, investigative reporting, and breaking news. We are part of the only organization purely dedicated to this critical mission and we need your help to fuel this fight.

Donate today to help CNSNews continue to report on topics that the liberal media refuse to touch. $25 a month goes a long way in the fight for a free and fair media.
