Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Min..) (Sreenshot)

The difference between President Donald Trump and former President Barack Obama is that “one is human” and the other isn’t, Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) declared Monday.

Rep. Omar made the comment when a Fox News reporter asked her if the two presidents were “the same”:

Reporter: “Do you think that President Obama is the same as President Trump?”

Rep. Omar: “Absolutely not. That is silly to even think and equate the two. One is human, the other is really not.”

As Fox News reports, Rep. Omar made the claim when asked about a comment she made equating Obama and Trump last week:

Freshman Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., told Fox News on Monday that it was "silly" to compare President Trump with former President Barack Obama, adding: "One is human. The other is really not."

Omar's comments came after she told Politico in an interview published last Friday that the Obama administration was responsible for the “caging of kids” at the U.S.-Mexico border and the “droning of countries around the world."
