On Monday, Ohio Republican Rep. Jim Jordan warned Americans of the things Democrats seek to take from them, plus one speech restriction that they want to impose.
Rep. Jordan tweeted a list of seven things Democrats want to take away from citizens:
- Guns
- Police
- Private health insurance
- Hard earned money
- Plastic straws
- Thanksgiving
- Christmas
While Democrats’ agenda items have included such measures as increased gun control, defunding the police, single-payer health care, higher taxes and environmental restrictions on products, there’s a new item, Jordan says – the elimination of gender-specific pronouns:
“And now? They don’t want you to say or use the words ‘mother,’ ‘father,’ ‘son,’ or daughter.’”
On Monday, the Democrat-controlled House approved new rules, which "Changes pronouns and familial relationships in the House rules to be gender neutral or removes references to gender.” The office of the Omsbudsman, for example, will be changed to the gender-neutral office of "Ombuds."
