The Biden Administration is so overwhelmed trying to house illegal aliens at the border, it’s shipping them up north to cities like hers, and yours, Michigan Rep. Lisa McClain (R) told Fox & Friends First on Monday.

In an interview discussing the “horrible” situation she saw during her recent visit to the southwest border, Rep. McClain warned that even citizens who don’t live on the border should be concerned about what’s happening there:

“It’s coming into your community in two-fold. One, I live in Michigan. They (border states) do not have the facilities to house these underage, illegal migrant children.

“So, what they’re doing is, they’re busing them, they’re flying them up to my city, here in Albion, in Michigan, number one.

“Number two, where it’s coming to a city near you is, because the border patrol are spending so much time dealing with all these families that are crossing illegally, they have no time to protect the border.

“So, what do you think is coming in? Fentanyl, cocaine, heroin - and I can assure you, that’s coming to a city near you.”

“It’s worse than I thought,” Rep. McClain said of the conditions at the border.

“Come down from your Ivory Tower and actually go to the border and see for yourself” before forming an opinion on illegal immigration, Rep. McClain said, urging Pres. Joe Biden to visit the border and stop denying the problem:

“What’s happening to these families is an organized form of illegal immigration that I would argue is modern-day slavery. The only people that are making out in this situation are the drug traffickers, the cartels and the people that traffic these families over.

“It’s worse than I thought. And I would suggest that, before you have an opinion, come down from your Ivory Tower and actually go to the border and see for yourself what is happening. It is horrible.”
