Michelle Obama Lectures Big Bird: Snack on Bell Peppers

By Craig Bannister | February 22, 2013 | 3:01pm EST

First Lady Michelle Obama gives Big Bird snack tips in a new video celebrating the third anniversary of her "Let's Move!" campaign.

Shot in the White House kitchen, Michelle shows the Sesame Street star a fruit and veggie snack bowl including - red and yellow peppers? The First Lady praises these "snacks" using adjectives like "juicy," "crunchy," "healthy and colorful."

The frying pans hanging in the background of the video and the thought of "Bird Bird snacks" did give me an idea:

Since poultry is lean and high in protein, what could be more "healthy and colorful" than those two big yellow wings fried up and served with a bright red Buffalo sauce?

The First Lady's "" blog has even recipes for dishes like "Spicy Southern Barbequed Chicken" and "Turkey Lasagna With Spinach" (does anyone what type of big "bird" he is?).

But, I was thinking more along the lines of a Chinese delicacy like Sesame (Street) Chicken.

Let's Eat!
