Actor Mark Hamill: 'I never use anger to criticize Trump' (Screenshot)

Actor Mark Hamill, of “Star Wars” fame, has a theory on why he’s one Hollywood celebrity who has not been blocked by President Donald Trump’s Twitter account – despite his anti-Trump tweets.

In an interview with Variety about his new star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, the actor says that, while other anti-Trump have been blocked by Trump, he hasn’t.

After making a joke about Trump’s ego, Hamill revealed what may be the real reason: he relies on humor – not anger or name-calling:

“And, my theory is, I don’t know if it’s true, I never ‘tag’ him [on Twitter].

“And, I have a theory that, if he doesn’t see his name, you know, that it’s off his radar screen. I’m probably on a list, you know, somewhere in the White House.”

“And I always do it in a fun way. I don’t, you know, call him names: ‘Oh, you orange orangutan’ and all that, I never use anger. I always try to be funny, you know.”

Hamill, then, shared his take on the purpose of Twitter:

“If you can’t have fun on Twitter, you know, I don’t see any other reason for it.”
