Nationally-syndicated radio and television host Mark Levin will join a slate of celebrities in a virtual event paying tribute to the nation’s 2021 graduating class of high school seniors planning to enlist in the U.S. military.

On May 15, 2021 at 3:00PM EST, the “America Salutes 2021” event will be broadcast as a global livestream event online on Facebook and YouTube and will feature prominent members of the military from across all services, home performances from well-known musical artists, and “thank you’ video messages from recording artists, celebrities, parents and service members in the field. Pre-registration is required, but provided free of charge to those who sign up online.

America Salutes 2021 will be hosted by actor and U.S. Air Force veteran Jon Huertas, who plays Miguel on NBC’s “This Is Us.”

In addition to Levin and Huertas, the cast of celebrities delivering “Thank you” messages to the students and their parents will include:

  • Radio and television host Glenn Beck,
  • Former Pittsburgh Steeler Rocky Bleier, a veteran and recipient of the Bronze Star and Purple Heart
  • U.S. Astronaut and military veteran Christopher Cassidy (USN CAPT, SEAL)
  • Michigan State Basketball Coach Tom Izzo
  • Fox News weekend anchor and U.S. Army Reserve Officer Pete Hegseth,
  • Actor John Ratzenberger,
  • Celebrity Chef Robert Irvine,
  • NHL Nashville Predators’ Rocco Grimaldi,
  • Country music artist Lee Greenwood, and
  • Latino musical artist Natti Natasha

Americans wishing to express their gratitude to, and support for, the seniors entering the military can sign a Virtual Thank Your Card and leave a personal message to the 150,000 Class of 2021 High School Enlistees and their parents.

Additionally, the national organization “Our Community Salutes” will be conducting local ceremonies across the country to honor high school seniors planning to enlist in the military after graduation. On its website, Americans can find, and register for, local events recognizing service-bound seniors in their communities.

At an event at a local venue on May 27 in Fairfax, Virginia, for example, the 4th Annual Our Community Salutes High School Enlistee Recognition Ceremony will pay tribute the Class of 2021 high school seniors in Northern Virginia who plan to enlist. The event will feature in-person speakers and short presentations by service recruiters and will provide food and light beverages. While attendance at the event requires pre-registration, it will also be broadcast via Zoom.

Founded in 2009 by educator and former U.S. Army officer, Dr. Kenneth Hartman, Our Community Salutes is a national nonprofit organization that supports high school seniors enlisting in the U.S. Armed Services after graduation, by providing enlistees and their parents with recognition, peer networking, community support, education, and career planning resources.
