“Somebody is going to get hurt,” Fox News Channel (FNC) host Howard Kurtz warned Thursday after an Antifa mob of protesters attacked the home and threatened the family of fellow FNC show host Sean Hannity. The police report catagorizes the attack as a suspected "hate crime" based on political bias, Associated Press reports.

“Well, first of all, I just think this is reprehensible. I would say that whether it was Tucker Carlson’s house or Jim Acosta’s house, whether you agree with Tucker or not,” “Media Buzz” Host Kurtz said, appearing on his channel’s “America’s Newsroom” program.

Kurtz condemned how the orchestrated mob damaged Carlson’s home and threatened his family. Kurtz also called on left-wing leaders to publicly denounce the attack in order to discourage future assaults:

“This was an organized effort to harass and, yes, I think to threaten Tucker Carlson and his family: his door ended up being cracked, his address was published to encourage other things like this. I don’t understand why people don’t get arrested for things like this.

“And, I think it is incumbent on those on the left to denounce this sort of conduct. We saw the beginnings of this when Trump Administration officials were refused service in various restaurants.

“This is not okay. Somebody is going to get hurt.

“And, I think, whatever your political opinions are, you can’t condone this kind of thing, no matter who the target is: left, right or center.”

What’s more, threatening a person’s family over political views is both “totally unacceptable” and dangerous, Kurtz warned:

“Don’t drag families into this. Don’t drag children into this. There are many ways to register your dissent. Going to somebody’s house, and attacking the door and screaming and scaring the family – I mean that just should be considered completely and totally unacceptable, and I’m really starting to get worried about this. And, I would say the same thing no matter what the political target is.

“This is not what should go on in America.”

As NewsBusters reported, Carlson’s family was home alone when the Antifa mob threatened his family, screaming “We will fight, we know where you sleep at night”:

Shortly before Fox News Channel host Tucker Carlson was set to begin Wednesday’s edition of his show, a mob of Antifa protestors descended on his Washington, D.C. area home to threaten him and his family with violence.

The group known as “Smash Racism DC” on social media posted a video of their antics on Twitter, which had since been deleted by the site. But the video could still be found on Facebook. In the video, radical leftist agitators can be heard threatening Carlson and his family by chanting: “Tucker Carlson, we will fight! We know where you sleep at night!”
