‘How Old Are You, Baby? How Old Are You?,’ Pres. Biden Asks Little Girl in Audience

Pres. Joe Biden calls little girl "Baby."

After a child in the audience professed her love for him, President Joe Biden called her “Baby” and asked her age during an event at Wilkes University in Pennsylvania on Friday.

“How are you, baby? How old are you? How old are you?,” Biden asked after the child screamed “I love you!”

After she said she was nine years old, Biden joked that she was “almost double figures.”

Immediately afterwards, another audience member screamed, “We love you!” But, this time, Biden simply responded “Thank you”:

Child: “President Biden, I love you!”

Pres. Biden: “Well, thank you very much.  Thank you.  How are you, baby?  How old are you? How old are you?”

Child: “Nine!”

Pres. Biden: “You’re almost double figures.

“Well, look, folks.  It’s great to be here in Wilkes-Barre.  I mean that sincerely.”

Audience Member: “Hi, Mr. President!”

Audience Member: “Welcome home!”

Audience Member: “We love you!”

Pres. Biden: “Well, thank you. Well, thank you so much.  Mayor Brown, thank you for that introduction and the passport into this great city.”
