Bozell: TV Academy Should 'Immediately Disinvite Samantha Bee'

Media Research Center (MRC) President Brent Bozell issued a statement Thursday, calling on the Television Academy to disinvite honoree Samantha Bee from its Hollywood awards show - which is plans to honor Bee Thursday evening - after the host of TBS's "Full Frontal" called President Donald Trump's daughter a vulgar, vile sexist slur on-air Wednsesday night. The Television Academy is most well-known for hosting the Emmy Awards.

In his statement, Bozell also called Hollywood's hypocrisy for actually being supportive of such vulgar hatefulness - when it's directed at anyone who is liberal enough for them:

"The decent and honorable thing for the Television Academy to do is immediately disinvite Samantha Bee. The Academy should and they could but they probably won’t. They have shown if it's a leftist attacking a conservative or Republican it's okay. This is Hollywood after all and they won’t do it because they are supportive of this type of abomination. This is just proof positive of the hypocrisy of liberals in Hollywood and in general.

"Imagine if Roseanne had said this about the Obama daughters and was being honored tonight. The Television Academy would have immediately disinvited her. For conservatives and Republicans, it’s open season against them, including making repugnant statements about the children of US Presidents."
