Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D.-Mich.) did a Q&A with “The Cut” in which she explained what she does when she is “unwinding at the end of the day.”
“I don’t really unplug when I’m in D.C.,” she said, “because it’s mostly late nights and early mornings.
“I definitely watched the final season of Game of Thrones this year,” she continued, “which my staff loved because they’re all obsessed with it. As for books, I just finished The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck, Mark Manson.”
The page for “The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck” on Amazon notes that the book was a No. 1 New York Times bestseller. It says:
"In this generation-defining self-help guide, a superstar blogger cuts through the crap to show us how to stop trying to be "positive" all the time so that we can truly become better, happier people. For decades, we’ve been told that positive thinking is the key to a happy, rich life. ‘F**k positivity,’ Mark Manson says. ‘Let’s be honest, shit is f**ked and we have to live with it.’”
