Rev. Bryant on Hannity: Progressive, Liberal Policies in Chicago Have Led to Anarchy

On his nationally syndicated radio talk show Monday, host Sean Hannity interviewed Freedom Works Senior Fellow Reverend C.L. Bryant to discuss a wave gun violence that occurred in Chicago over the weekend, Bryant explaining that “progressive, liberal policies in Chicago has [sic] led to anarchy.”

“Because we’ve failed to realize that progressive, liberal policies in Chicago has [sic] led to anarchy. Law and order must be restored,” said Reverend C.L. Bryant when explaining why the problem in Chicago is not being solved.  “This president, our President Donald J. Trump, does understand that law and order is necessary.”

Hannity and Rev. Bryant's remarks stem from reports of gun violence that took place in Chicago over the weekend. As reported by, 74 people were shot in Chicago and 11 died over the weekend. Additionally since January 1, 2018, there have been 1,700 shootings in Chicago and 318 people have died.

“Your—Obama, Pastor Jerimiah Wright and also Rahm Emanuel, we must hold them responsible for what we’re seeing on the streets of Chicago. It is unnecessary, and black folks need to wake up and understand one thing: how can they possibly, how can we possibly, be satisfied with what we’re seeing in these progressive, liberal policies that are leading our country to the anarchy that we’re seeing in cities like Chicago, Detroit, New Orleans and Houston?”

Hannity: “We gotta save these kids lifves. You know what? It’s American treasure just being destroyed.”
