(CNSNews.com) -- Action taken by the Trump administration to reverse an Obama administration mandate that public schools allow transgender students to use the bathrooms and showers that coincide with their "gender identity," not their biological sex, is a "victory for parents, children and privacy," said the Family Research Council (FRC) on Feb. 22.The FRC also said their step, made specifically by Education Secretary Betsy DeVos and Attorney General Jeff Sessions, "fulfills President Trump's campaign promise to get the federal government out of the business of dictating school shower and bathroom policies."

(CNSNews.com) -- State Department documents released through a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit filed by the government watchdog Judicial Watch reveal, contrary to Obama administration claims, the State Department knew as early as Sept. 12, 2012 that the Sept. 11, 2012 attack on the U.S. compound in Benghazi, Libya was a "direct breaching attack." It was not sparked "under the cover of a protest" or in response to an anti-Islamic YouTube video.
