I got a text from a friend last Thursday morning about guys he knows who are loading pickup trucks with water and other basics and heading out for Texas to help in the rescue and clean-up efforts. It’s not that they know anybody there or that they’ve been called to come help out, it’s just that they see a great need and they want to lend a hand.
