(CNSNews.com) - To no one's surprise, President Donald Trump weighed in early Tuesday morning, claiming the "big victory" in Iowa belongs to him:

His first tweet on the subject came around 6:30 a.m.

The Democrat Caucus is an unmitigated disaster. Nothing works, just like they ran the Country. Remember the 5 Billion Dollar Obamacare Website, that should have cost 2% of that. The only person that can claim a very big victory in Iowa last night is “Trump”.

Several hours after the first tweet, Trump sent a few more:

"When will the Democrats start blaming RUSSIA, RUSSIA, RUSSIA, instead of their own incompetence for the voting disaster that just happened in the Great State of Iowa?" he asked.

Trump also took issue with people blaming "Iowa" for the results-tabulation problem and for suggesting that the Iowa Caucuses should be abolished:

"It is not the fault of Iowa, it is the Do Nothing Democrats fault," Trump tweeted. "As long as I am President, Iowa will stay where it is. Important tradition!"

The results of the Iowa caucus have been delayed -- if not delegitimized -- for reasons that are not fully clear.

The Iowa Democrat Party said it's a "reporting" issue. It said "the underlying data and paper trail is sound," so reporting the results "will simply take time."

Monday morning cable shows seized on the Democrats' failure to tally the Iowa results to suggest that this should be Iowa's LAST "first in the nation" nominating contest.
