Sen. Lamar Alexander (R-Tenn.) asked U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder during a Senate hearing Thursday whether then Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) was wrong in 2007 when he "devised the plan for pro-forma three day sessions" upon hearing that President George W. Bush was about to make recess appointments.
