NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Tennessee wide receiver Kenny Britt was carted off the field after hurting his right knee trying to turn upfield after a reception and won't return against Denver.

Team officials had no immediate update on Britt's knee injury as he remained in the locker room to start the second half.

Britt caught a swing pass from Matt Hasselbeck and eluded one Denver tackler. His leg appeared to buckle under him, and he fumbled the ball away to Denver.

Britt laid on the ground for a few minutes before being helped to the sideline. He limped heavily, barely able to touch his right foot to the ground. He then was carted off the field.

The third-year receiver came into Sunday's game with Denver leading the AFC with 271 yards receiving, and he had three catches for 18 yards before the injury.
