HONOLULU (AP) — Prosecutors say a man accused in a freeway shooting rampage that left one woman dead and two people injured has been charged with 15 felony counts.

The Honolulu Prosecutor's Office says 28-year-old Toby Stangel of Haleiwa was charged Saturday night for the shootings a day earlier.

The Honolulu Star Advertiser reports that Stangel's bail is set at $5 million.

The charges include one count of murder in the second degree in the death of 54-year-old Tammy Nguyen, who was the mother of 10.

Authorities say 24-year-old Amie Lou Asuncion of Kalihi and 38-year-old Samson Naupoto of Salt Lake are recovering from gunshot wounds.

Police say the shootings appeared to be random and none of the victims were known to the suspect. Five other people were shot at but they weren't injured.
