SAN DIEGO (AP) — A 25-year-old Somali refugee living in San Diego has pleaded guilty to sending money to a group of men from Minnesota who joined the al-Shabab terror group fighting in her African homeland.

Nima Yusuf entered her plea Thursday in federal court in San Diego.

As part of her plea, Yusuf admitted she knew the four men had left the United States to become fighters for al-Shabab.

Yusuf also admitted sending them $1,450 between February 2010 and November 2010.
