This week, Yahoo News fired its Washington Bureau Chief David Chalian after he was overhead during a webcast saying that GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney and his wife Ann are not concerned about the possible victims of Hurricane Isaac. “They're not concerned at all. They're happy to have a party with black people drowning,” Chalian said.

Former Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain told reporters that many in the media try to paint GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney as unlikable.

“He is a very likable person,” Cain said of Romney. “But the mainstream media -- and I’m not talking about you all, not all of them, but I’m primarily talking about, and I’m going call them out -- ABC, CBS and NBC -- not all the reporters there do this, but I know that’s the culture. They try to paint him as unlikable with sound bites.”
