OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Officials at Will Rogers World Airport in Oklahoma City say they've evacuated parts of the building and cancelled some departing flights after a suspicious box was discovered at a baggage claim office.

Airport spokeswoman Karen Carney says the box was discovered Friday morning and that the Oklahoma City bomb squad has arrived at the scene.

Carney says the ticket lobby and baggage claim levels of the airport were evacuated and that arriving flights have not been allowed to pull up to the gates.

Incoming traffic to the airport also has been stopped.

Carney says no departing flights have taken off since about 9:45 a.m.
