Obama Wants A Path to Citizenship for Illegal Aliens

(CNSNews.com) – President Barack Obama will announce his immigration reform plan in May – a plan that includes legal status for long-time resident aliens who pay fines and learn English, a White House officials told the New York Times.
Cecilia Muñoz, deputy assistant to the president and director of intergovernmental affairs in the White House, told the newspaper that over the summer, Obama will convene “working groups” to begin discussing possible legislation that would be introduced as early as this fall.

Opposition to the plan is expected to be strong and swift.
