(CNSNews.com) – President Barack Obama told a crowd in Springfield, Ohio that “voting is the best revenge” during a campaign rally on Friday, after he mentioned the name of Republican candidate Mitt Romney.

Relaying how Romney as a Senate candidate in Massachusetts opposed the economic policies of then-President Bill Clinton in 1994, Obama told the booing crowd, “don’t boo, vote -- voting is the best revenge.”

“Don’t boo, vote, vote,” he said. “Voting is the best revenge.”
