(CNSNews.com)- Tonight Show host Jay Leno joked about recent comments made by House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.).

“Nancy Pelosi said that she opposes a pay cut for Congress because it would diminish the dignity of the job,” Leno quipped on Monday night's broadcast, “They’re Congressman, just keeping them out of jail is a full time job, shut up. That Carnival cruise ship had more dignity than Congress.”

The Carnival Triumph cruise ship recently docked in Mobile, Ala. after experiencing propulsion, sewage, power and air conditioning problems. Passengers ended up dealing with sewage soaked carpets and sleeping on open decks.
