(CNSNews.com) -On NBC's the “Tonight Show”, host Jay Leno introduced a parody of a public service announcement for Californians who may be trying to flee from the high taxes in the state.

Over shots of a moving van being loaded a voiceover says, “In the last year more than 100,000 people have moved out of the great state of California.”

“This is troubling because frankly, we’re broke. Every time someone moves out the state loses much needed tax revenue,” the announcer says over shots of closed businesses.

Then, video of armed officers stopping and arresting the driver of a moving truck is shown, “So starting today anyone trying to leave will be gently encouraged to stay.”

“California… you’re not going anywhere.”
