( A group that advocates for economic freedom has unveiled an initial list of “naughty and nice” legislators as part of a new initiative aimed at pressuring Congress not to raise taxes.

“This site is an entertaining, witty, initiative that engages Americans on the lame duck issues in a new way,” said Americans for Prosperity President Tim Phillips. “We’re always looking for new and innovative ways to help activists engage, and Merry Taxmas fully integrates social media and citizen activism to urge Members of Congress to do the right thing.”

On the naughty list are Sens. Saxby Chambliss, Bob Corker, Dick Durbin, Lindsey Graham, and Patty Murray as well as Reps. Scott Garrett (R-N.J.), Jim Jordan (R-Ohio), Mick Mulvaney (R-S.C.), Mike Pompeo (R-Kan.), and Steve Scalise (R-La.).

One the nice list are: Sens. Jim DeMint, Pat Toomey, Jeff Sessions and Rand Paul as well as Reps. Scott Garrett, Jim Jordan, Mick Mulvaney, Mike Pompeo and Steve Scalise.

The Merry Taxmas website instructs people to click on a photo of the lawmaker to send them a message, whether they are naughty or nice. Step two calls for choosing a Merry Taxmas card to share with family or friends online, and step three involves sending a personal message to the lawmaker asking them “not to be a Grinch this holiday season and to keep their promise to not raise taxes.”

Some of the Merry Taxmas card messages include: “You’ll tax your eye out, kid.”, “The Fiscal Cliff: Tax cuts roasting on an open fire.”, “Every time Congress cuts taxes, an angel gets his wings.” ,“I’d actually like some coal for Christmas.” “Tax credits for wind? Bah, Humbug!” and “Dashing through the snow…and over the fiscal cliff.”
