'Extreme Makeover: Home Edition' salutes veterans
LOS ANGELES (AP) — Stars including Jewel, Whoopi Goldberg and Robin Williams are taking part in a special Veterans Day edition of "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition."
ABC and the Entertainment Industry Foundation announced Wednesday that the hourlong "Rise and Honor" special will salute those who have served in the military and raise funds for groups that support veterans and their families.
Jewel is set to perform and co-host the special with Ty Pennington of "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition." Others taking part in the program include George Lopez, J.R. Martinez, Rachael Ray, Sherri Shepherd and Major League Baseball players Clay Buchholz, Daniel Murphy and Shane Victorino.
The special will air at 8 p.m. EST on Nov. 11 on ABC.
