JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) — Authorities say two adults are dead following an apparent murder-suicide at a high school in Jacksonville, Fla.
Melissa Bujeda, a spokeswoman for the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, says officers responded to reports of a person with a gun at Episcopal High School on Tuesday afternoon. While officers were on their way, they began to receive additional calls about shots being fired.
When officers arrived, they found the two people dead. That second person found is believed to have been the shooter.
Neither dead person was immediately identified, but authorities say no students were injured. Parents were allowed to pick up their children.
School officials didn't immediately return calls for comment.
