With all due respect to everyone here. You must understand that those who take an oath to uphold and protect the US Constitution, then attack the peoples rights called the Bill of Rights which carry the words, "shall not be infringed"; in my opinion are not Americans, but subversives. True Americans will bleed and die to protect the U.S. Constitution, and do not suffer those who would eviscerate it. Senator Reed and all Democrats including Barack Obama should be arrested immediately for treason.

Whoops!! Excuse me. I erred. I thought I read Harry Reid, but now I see it's Jack Reed. Embarassing!!

NO Dingy Harry!! The draft is different. How ignorant do the Democraps think we are? About the Constitution, it says that the federal government must maintain military forces - national defense, and we know a draft may be needed if there are not enough volunteers. Also, the Constitution may say that congress shall PROVIDE for the welfare…. NOT FORCE it!! Of course, the liberal statists don’t give a **** about the Constitution knowing it gets in the way of most of their leftwing agenda. These ***holes have been violating the 2nd Amendment for the past 3-4 decades. And now they show contempt for the 1st amendment. Most of what BHO and his democraps are doing is unconstitutional. Let’s IMPEACH THEM NOW – before it’s too late!!

Sen. Reed is a buffoon. His need to join with the Administration on this issue has exceeded common sense.

Only males are forced to register for the draft. Females are excluded. Thereby, the draft is unconstitutional.

Article 1 Section 8 of the Constitution would give Congress the power to establish a draft as it does give Congress the power to raise and support an army. Yet nowhere does the Constituion overtly give Congress to require US cizens to purchase anything. I am truly again disappointed in our congressmen's lack of knowledge of one of the two most sacred documents of our county.

I hear my fellow Americans complaining, some even invoking Divine assistance, but so what? Likely, the FED would like nothing more than to evoke spontaneous protest, to identify and incarcerate dissenters, maybe even the martial law they desire. I respectfully submit, that we must STOP complaining and start discussing the challenges and opportunities connected with a solution if one exists. As long as we are whining, the power elite know we are nothing constructive. Either learn to like it...honestly consider if and what it would require comprehensively to change the situation, or resolve to start over with the original principles. Should an abused wife hope that her abussive husband change the error of his ways, plot to kill him, or file for divorce and change zipcodes? Could replacing every member of congress truly change the course of the nation? Not without removing the FED, the IRS, the CIA and most of the agencies, departments and bureaus of the US govt. Whaddya think?
