SAN ANTONIO (AP) — Investigators say five foreign nationals have been detained after a break-in at a county courthouse in downtown San Antonio.

Sheriff's department spokesman Louis Antu (AN'-too) says the incident early Wednesday is being investigated by local and federal authorities as a burglary of the building known as the old Bexar (bayr) County Courthouse. The historic building is still used as an active courthouse.

Antu says some of the men were inside the building, while others were found outside about 1:30 a.m. Investigators also have examined a recreational vehicle found nearby.

Antu says he has no information to indicate the break-in is related to terrorism. He says federal authorities are involved because the men who are being held aren't from the U.S. but that authorities still are trying to confirm their nationalities.
