Thirty-one years - that's how many wedding anniversaries one Columbia, Missouri, couple had celebrated at Red Lobster.  But, this year was different, because the wife was eating alone.  The husband passed away from cancer in March, but the widow's daughter still took her mom out to Red Lobster because she wanted to continue the tradition.

When the daughter asked for the check, local station KSDK reports, the family received the following note from Red Lobster:

"We are sorry to hear about husband's passing, but we appreciate your loyalty in spending 31 years of your anniversary with us.

"For our appreciation, your meal is on us! We look forward to spending your next anniversary with us!"

"Sincerely, Red Lobster and your server, Taylor"
