Apple Texting of 'Happy Thanksgiving'

The latest Apple iOS text messaging system will auto correct both words of "Black Friday" but neither words of "Happy Thanksgiving."

Apple Texting Capitalizes 'Black Friday'

In the SMS (Short Message Service) text messages below, a message showing "Black Friday" is corrected to reflect a proper noun, while "Happy Thanksgiving" is not.

Apple has come under fire recently for not providing alternatives to words including "abortion," "bullet," and "suicide."  For example, if "abortiom" is entered in the messaging client, and an replacement is requested, the client will respond back with "No replacements found."

If "Bullit" is entered in the client, the phrase "Bull It" will be suggested.  If "Suicidw" is entered, the word "Dioxide" will be suggested by the client.
