Amos, the stolen bunny, has been returned.

The bunny that was taken in early June from Great Beginnings Preschool in Rogue River, Ore was discovered by a homeless man and returned about a week later.

According to KOBI-TV, the bunny burglary case caught on with social media under the hashtag #freeamos.

Amos was discovered by a homeless man, Ralph Rowden, in a box inside a trashcan by the local library. He knew about the missing bunny and took action.

The pre-school children have been given back Amos and Rowden was given something special as well - a cash reward and a thank you card.

"Thank you so very much for finding and returning Amos, our school bunny," read Rowden aloud to KOBI-TV.

Rowden says it’s the first thank you card he’s ever received.
