This Sunday is the Super Bowl and people are looking forward to some great football and some great ads.
With a price of about $4 million for a 30 second spot, the ads are looking to hit a big-time audience. But will they be big-time memorable?
I’ve already seen some advance ads for this year’s game - the Budweiser puppy love, Anna Kendrick’s Newcastle spot and the Muppets Toyota Highlander commercial.
I’m not going to go into a diatribe about whether these are good commercials or not, but I don’t think any of them will be as memorable as the Dodge Ram Trucks commercial that was run last year.
Titled “Farmer”, the simple slideshow of pictures scored by a Paul Harvey speech given over three decades ago to the Future Farmers of America (FFA), just sticks with you.
The video is presented here. Will a more memorable ad be presented during the 2014 Super Bowl? We’ll see.
