A look back at some of our favorite stories on this week.

Anytime Is The Right Time

Most of America experienced the chill of the polar vortex but the government was there to remind us come cold, snow, rain or gloom of night - anytime is the right time to concentrate on health insurance.

The Department of Health and Human Services taking the opportunity online to remind Americans to "get covered."

Welfare Name Change

Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-Texas) thinks the name of welfare should be changed to a “transitional living fund.” No doubt, the new name would improve any image problems welfare may be facing.

No, It’s Not a ‘Stimulus Program’ – It’s a Research Grant

The federal government is spending over $224-thousand to test custom-fitted condoms and validate a self-reporting penis measurement system for commercial use.

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) awarded the grant to TheyFit LLC. Part of the research will “seek to improve upon traditional self-report mechanisms of penis measurement by validating the TheyFit measuring tool.”

Rodman Rants

Former NBA player Dennis Rodman brought a basketball team of former players with him for an exhibition game in North Korea.

The game wasn’t as interesting as watching Rodman snap over questions concerning the detainment of American citizen Kenneth Bae while appearing on CNN.

The video of him singing “Happy Birthday” to Kim Jung un is kind of mesmerizing as well.
