It’s time for a look back at the stories that have made the CNSNews.com “Best of The Week.”
Greece is the word
The total number of people in the United States now receiving federal disability benefits hit a record 10,982,920 in November, according to newly released data from the Social Security Administration.
That means the number of Americans taking disability benefits in November outnumbered the total population of Greece, which is 10,772,967.
A number much lower than the population of Greece is the number of people who successfully used the healthcare.gov website last month.
Healthcare.gov was re-launched on Monday with the White House saying the technical team is now “operating with private sector velocity and effectiveness”.
A website that has continued to work effectively is whitehouse.gov. A Thanksgiving message posted on the White House website says the People who depend on the government to buy their food using food stamps are boosting the economy.
"What's more, SNAP is boosting the economy right now," the White House Graphic says.

According to Rep. Earl Blumenauer (D-Ore.) it just hasn’t been done in a while. “First of all, we haven’t raised the gas tax in 20 years,” Blumenauer told Fox News.
