In honor or Barbara Walters' retirement from the news business, one woman decided to celebrate Walters' career by tattooing the journalist's likeness onto her leg.

New Orleans resident Liz Dodd went under the needle for several hours and emerged with a full color likeness of Walters' face hovering above the 20/20 logo that nearly covers her entire right calf.

Obviously, Dodd is a fan.

"I'm probably the first woman to get a Barbara Walters tattoo," said Dodd.  She was a pioneer for women all over the world.  Now I'm a pioneer, too."

People getting inked with the likeness of their favorite celebrity is nothing new. However, the likeness typically isn't that of an 87-year old, news anchor.

Walters has yet to comment on being immortalized in such a unique fashion.
