A new poll shows that nearly two-thirds of America's veterans oppose Obamacare, and nearly half believe it's worse than the beleaguered VA healthcare system.

The poll by Concerned Veterans for America (CVA), a veterans advocacy organization, shows that 63% of veterans disapprove of Obamacare - and 46% say it's worse than the Veterans Affairs (VA) health care system.

CVA CEO Pete Hegseth reacted to the results by explained the problems veterans have suffered at the hands of "the broken VA healthcare system":

"Our veterans are very concerned with the direction of the country and its healthcare system. They've seen how poorly the government handles healthcare with firsthand experience in the broken VA healthcare system-where wait times, lack of choice, and poor care abound. Our vets deserve better, and these numbers reinforce that fact."

Of veterans and members of the military who have experienced claim backlogs, 60% report their waiting time to be at least seven months - and 36% say it lasted more than a year.

Overall, 22% of veterans and members of the military have experienced backlogs of their health care claims, according to CVA analysis.
