In 2011, First Lady Michelle Obama said that "arugula and steak" was her "favorite" meal. But, today, it seems, steak and arugula have been replaced by "pizza" and "fries" as the First Lady's food of choice.

In November of 2011, while visiting an organic farm in Hawaii, one of the farm's workers told Mrs. Obama that arugula was a "favorite" of his.

"That's right," said Mrs. Obama. "My favorite, too. Arugula and steak. I like it a lot. That's good stuff."

But, today, First lady Michelle Obama told children at the White House's Annual Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day that her favorite healthy food is pizza and her favorite junk food was French fries:

"So I'm gonna give you my favorite healthy thing to eat, which actually is my favorite thing to eat - pizza. Yes, but usually when I have pizza - alright don't get mad at me - I do veggie pizzas."

"But if I'm really being bad, right? And if I want my favorite junk food - some kids asked me this just the other day - one of my favorite, favorite junk foods is French fries. I love French fries."

Meanwhile, school kids have taken to tweeting their disgust with the school lunches inspired by the First Lady's "Let's Move!" campaign.
