We are now in mid-summer and if you haven’t done anything crazy yet, well, your chance may come soon enough. In Kansas City, KS you could take a leap of fair, or a drop of faith as it were, and ride Schlitterbahn Park's water slide.

This insane ride is the tallest and fastest water ride standing at 168’ 7” tall with a speed of about 65mph. It consists of a monstrous climb via stairs to the top - then you slide down the massive 168 foot drop, followed by a “smaller” hill which is “equivelent of jumping over 21 Semi Trucks parked side by side.” It is touted as being “Higher than Niagara Falls,” “Faster than a Cheetah,” and “Steeper than a Ski Slope.”

However, the ride isn't open to the public yet, but once it does be sure to grab a ticket and scare the living daylights out of yourself. Check out the behind-the-scenes if the first launch doesn't scare you.
