Ever feel like you're being watched? Watch what happens when this Pallas cat - a type of cat that lives in the Himalayan mountains and is known for its shyness - pops out of its remote retreat and notices something strange set up outside his den.

First discovered by researchers looking for snow leopards in Nepal, the Pallas cat is around the size of a domestic house cat and looks like a cross between a house cat and a snow leopard.

This particular "camera trap" was placed 14,000 feet above sea level in extreme climate and produced the first footage of the reclusive Pallas cat.
