A Planned Parenthood counselor "intentionally miscoded" an Arizona teenager's rape, downgrading the assault to a consensual encounter because the counselor didn't want the "hassle" of reporting it to authorities, a Pinal County Sheriff's Office report obtained by Fox News states.

Tyler Kost, an 18 year old Arizona high school student, was indicted on 27 felony counts of sexually assaulting 11 girls aged 12 to 17 between October 2009 and April 2014. Charges against Tyler Kost include multiple counts of sexual assault with a minor, sexual abuse with a minor, sexual conduct with a minor, and one count of child molestation. Authorities believe he has assaulted at least 18 students from Poston Butte High School.

One of his 15 year-old victims became pregnant after she was allegedly raped and received an abortion. The mother of the 15 year-old told a Planned Parenthood Arizona staffer about the attack in December, a Pinal County Sheriff's Office report shows.

"The counselor intentionally miscoded the assault as a consensual encounter," the Sheriff's report states. "The counselor told them that they did not want the hassle of having to report the assault to law enforcement as they were a mandatory reporter."

The allegations the counselor did not report the rape are "puzzling" and if true, a "serious violation" of its policies, Planned Parenthood Arizona said in a statement to Fox News. "Patient health and safety is our top priority, and Planned Parenthood Arizona takes its role as a mandatory reporter of criminal activity very seriously, including screening for potential abuse, charting answers, and responding to indications of criminal behavior."

How puzzling can this behavior really be, when Live Action has reported that counselors at least eight different Planned Parenthood clinics have reacted the same way? Live Action says the counselors disregarded mandatory child rape reporting laws.

If this were an isolated incident, then Planned Parenthood might be credible. But, the net result of multiple counselors' total dereliction of duty and failure to report the rape of minors is that child rapists everywhere are emboldened.

Planned Parenthood is, after all, the number one abortion provider in the United States. And this past year, it received $540.6 million of your taxpayer dollars
