Laura Ingraham asked Willie Robertson, star of "Duck Dynasty," Monday which politician he'd like to duck hunt with, and you'll never guess the answer he gave.
On the Laura Ingraham Show, Ingraham asked: "If you could hunt with any politician, spend a morning duck hunting, get up early with one politician - it has to be a Democrat - who would it be?"
Robertson told Ingraham:
"I'd probably just say the President, I'd like to talk and debate, and find out what's going on in his brain a little more. That's kinda my philosophy. I don't shy away from people I disagree with; I want to know why they think what they do. ... I keep an open mind to other peoples' beliefs.
"I've met him a couple of times and I've met him at the State of the Union and I actually ran into him and spoke to him. I'd like to get him out there with some camouflage and a gun, and we could sit out there and talk.
"It's a fun time. That's the fun about hunting, especially duck hunting... it's not like deer hunting where you gotta be quiet... there's been many a debate out there... over politics and religion..."
Ingraham suggested Robertson ask Obama to come down to Louisiana and Robertson replied, "That's a great idea."
Robertson's father, Phil, created controversy in December when he spoke to GQ about his beliefs on the sinfulness of homosexuality. A&E suspended Phil from "Duck Dynasty" - but then reinstated him when the family refused to film without him.
